Positive Displacement Pumps 

Positive Displacement Pumps are a type of pumps that use moving mechanisms such as pistons, lobe , diaphragms or blades to move liquids through direct and accurate displacement towards the pump outlet. These pumps compress and transfer liquids by changing the volume of their internal space.
The applications of positive displacement pumps are very wide due to the accuracy in handling and the ability to work with viscous liquids, pharmaceuticals and thick materials. Reciprocating or positive displacement pumps have two cavities. One hole on the suction side of the device has an increasing role, and the other hole on the pressure side of the device acts as a decreasing hole. This pump fills the cavity intermittently and moves the liquid with a constant volume. Cream, high viscosity oil, paint or resin are examples of these liquids.
